The TV Money Game

The economic issues of late have made people even more aware of money. Looking for the next easy way to make a buck? You could go on a TV show, though the money isn’t really easy. Many reality TV shows use a huge prize as enticement for competitors to often make fools of themselves for cash. Entertainment aplenty is provided by these shows.

I Love Money

I Love Money features reality show cast members from other VH1 shows competing for a $250,000 prize. The show revolves around the cast members living in one home as they compete in physical and mental challenges. Two teams go head to head and the losing team must send someone home. The elimination procedure creates a system by which the teams and individuals have shifting alliances. The first thing people realize is that you can’t really trust the other competitors. In the end only one person walks away with the money.

Real World/Road Rules Challenge

This show takes previous cast members from these two MTV shows and sends them on the road in RVs to a variety of locations. At these locations, the teams compete in various challenges for prizes and money. In the end one team wins and each member of the winning team gets a grand prize, such as a car.

Amazing Race

Two teams of two people who know each other race across the globe by helicopter, car, plane, air balloon, bike, or foot to various pit stops where they can win prizes. In the end, the winning team gets $1 million prize.
People who like competition and money can find plenty to watch on television. From worldwide races to physical competitions, reality shows cover every competition angle. The drama is often great, but the prize money makes it all worth it.
